In the ever-evolving world of the Lands Between, certain weapons just have a way of grabbing your attention, don't they? Sure, the flashy Moonveil and the infamous Rivers of Blood often steal the spotlight in the Tarnished community. But for those adventurers looking for something with a bit more... gravity, there's a blade forged from the stars themselves waiting to be found. This isn't your typical, off-the-rack katana; it's a conversation starter, a weapon with a story. The journey to claim it is an adventure in itself, a testament to the enduring design of the game.
Where Is The Meteoritic Ore Blade Located?
For the uninitiated or the brave new Tarnished starting their journey in 2026, the hunt begins in the familiar, yet deceptively peaceful, lands of Limgrave. Your first port of call is the First Step Site of Grace, the very spot where your epic tale began. From there, you'll want to make a beeline to the east, aiming for the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. A word of caution: you'll need to watch your step. The area is full of enemies, but you can either fight them or just run past them. The choice is yours.
Once you find the ruins, you will find a staircase that leads you down into a dark, damp room. The room is full of rats, but you can either deal with them or ignore them. Your goal is the chest at the end of the room. Opening it will trigger a magical teleportation, whisking you away to a much more dangerous location: the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Caelid. Talk about a fast travel service with no return ticket!

You have been teleported to Caelid, which is a much more dangerous area than Limgrave. If you are a low-level player, you will be easily defeated by the enemies. Your goal is to get out of the tunnel as quickly as possible. From the starting point, head south, following the path downwards. You'll soon come across a Site of Grace. After activating it, continue southwest, leaving the tunnel behind and heading into the open, blighted landscape.
Your next destination is the Aeonia Swamp Shore Site of Grace. This is where things get tricky. You absolutely must summon your spectral steed, Torrent, for this leg of the journey. The swamp inflicts a nasty status effect called Scarlet Rot, which can quickly drain your health. Riding Torrent allows you to sprint across the toxic mire without taking damage. It's a lifesaver, literally.

After reaching the Site of Grace on the swamp's shore, continue trekking southwest. Your perseverance will be rewarded when you spot the Caelid Waypoint Ruins. Among the crumbling structures, search for yet another staircase leading underground into a dark tunnel. This is a perfect time to light a torch—those pitch-black corridors can hide all sorts of unpleasant surprises.
Inside, you'll encounter some pesky, lesser Kindred of Rot archers. They can be a nuisance, but they're not too tough. You can choose to fight them or, if you're in a hurry, simply sprint past them. Your prize lies in the chamber ahead: a gleaming katana resting on the ground, waiting for a worthy wielder. That, my fellow Tarnished, is the Meteoritic Ore Blade.

The weapon's lore is as heavy as the ore it's made from. Forged to dispatch lifeforms born of falling stars, it deals inherent magic damage. The blade's weight is legendary, with slashes so ferocious they're said to mimic the impact of a crashing meteor. You can feel this weight in its unique heavy attacks and combos—it hits different, for real.
But the blade offers more than just raw power. It also inflicts blood loss buildup, adding a potent status effect to its arsenal. This gives you options: you can whittle down tough enemies with consistent damage or burst them down with a well-timed hemorrhage.
The crown jewel, however, is its unique Ash of War: Gravitas. This skill is a game-changer. It unleashes a wave of gravity magic that pulls nearby enemies toward you while dealing damage. It's perfect for controlling the battlefield, interrupting enemy attacks, and grouping foes together for a devastating follow-up. And let's be honest, it looks incredibly cool—a dramatic, swirling vortex of purple energy that never gets old to use.
