Hey everyone! It's me, your friendly neighborhood pot-headed warrior. I've got some BIG news to share. My six-month ban from Elden Ring is finally coming to an end this October! 🎉 That's right, at the end of the month, I'll officially be a free man... well, a free jar! 🏺 I know a lot of you have been wondering where I've been, so I wanted to clear the air and tell the whole story myself.

It all started with a bit of silly fun. After helping thousands of Tarnished defeat Malenia, I wanted to spice up my gameplay videos a bit. So, I installed a mod. Not a crazy overpowered mod or anything that would ruin the game for others... just a silly one that added Fortnite dances to the gesture list. 😅 I thought it would be hilarious for my streams and clips. Turns out, FromSoftware's anti-cheat system didn't find it quite as funny as I did.

Late April 2024 – that's when the hammer came down. My main account, the one with all the memories and thousands of Malenia kills, was hit with a six-month suspension. The last time I checked before the ban, my Malenia tally was somewhere between 6,000 and 7,000 victories. It's a number I'm proud of, knowing I helped so many of you claim your victory against the Blade of Miquella.

Now, let me clear up what a ban actually means in Elden Ring. It doesn't lock you out of the game completely. You can still play offline and explore the Lands Between. The online part gets restricted to a special... let's call it a "penalty server," where you can only play with others who were also caught modding. It's a lonely place for a sunbro like me who thrives on jolly cooperation! ☀️

Of course, I couldn't just sit around. With the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC dropping, a new generation of Tarnished needed help! I dusted off an alternate account and set my sights on a new challenge: Messmer the Impaler. 🔥

Helping players conquer Messmer has been an amazing experience. It's a different kind of fight – less about relentless aggression and more about patience and spacing. It reminded me why I love this community so much. That feeling of placing your summon sign down, not knowing who you'll help, and sharing that moment of triumph... it's priceless.

Even before the ban, I was thinking about taking a little break from Malenia. Thousands of fights with the same boss, no matter how epic, can burn anyone out. But being forced to take a break? That's different. It made me miss it more.

So, what's next for Let Me Solo Her?

My ban lifts at the end of October 2026. When I return to my main, it'll feel like coming home. Here's what you can expect:

  • The Return to Malenia: Yes, I'll be picking up the katanas again. I might not grind for another 6,000 kills, but I'll definitely be there for any Tarnished still struggling. Consider my summon sign officially back on the floor at the Haligtree Roots. 💪

  • DLC Help: I'll continue helping with Messmer and any other brutal DLC bosses on my main account. The more options for help, the better!

  • A Promise: No more mods, not even the silly ones. Lesson learned the hard way. The vanilla experience is more than enough for me.

The support from this community over the last six months has been incredible. Your messages kept me going. This whole journey – from a random player with a pot on his head to... well, whatever this is – has been wild. I'm just a guy who likes helping people beat tough bosses.

To everyone who summoned me, cheered me on, or just enjoyed the clips: thank you. Get your Furlcalling Finger Remedies ready. The jar is coming out of storage soon. 🏺⚔️

See you in the Lands Between, fellow Tarnished. Never give up, and never hesitate to call for help. That's what we're here for.

P.S. If you see a naked guy with a jar helmet and two katanas... you know who it is. 😉
